“My work is inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world and the importance of preserving it. From delicate flowers to native wildlife, I paint subjects that celebrate the beauty and fragility of nature. Whether its a single bloom or a hedgehog nestled amongst habitats, each piece is a tribute to the life that surrounds us and a reminder of what we stand to lose. Throughout my work, I use fine white highlights that bring my subjects to life. These carefully placed details draw the viewer’s eye, creating a sense of light that allows the flowers and animals to emerge from their backgrounds. The highlights emphasise the intricate beauty often overlooked in everyday nature, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the small details.”
